Baccarat is a very popular card game that remains among one of the most exciting online games in the industry.
Baccarat rules are simple and can be learned within a few minutes. You can play this game with six or eight decks of cards all arranged in a skid. Round after round, each player will play the part of the dealer. Baccarat involves a certain number of players and a banker who represents the house. In order to win, the player should bet on his opponents’ hands but also on the Bank’s hand. He can even attempt to reach the draw. The aim of such a game is merely to obtain a hand that adds up to be closest to 9 because 9 is the value of the winning hand.

The cards’ numeric value is in the order as follows: King, Queen, Jack and 10 (worth 0 points while the Ace is worth 1 point).
Cards between 2 and 9 keep the same numeric value.
How do we count?
If a hand exceeds 10, there are two ways to reduce its value, either by subtracting 10 or by deleting the first digit.
Some examples: 6 + 6 = 12, subtract 10, therefore 2 points.
4 + 0 + 5 = 9 score will be 9 for this hand.
Course of a Baccarat game
What you need to do is place your bet on the banker’s hand, on the other players’ hands and on the “tie” box, which is also sometimes indicated as the “draw”. Once you are done betting, the game can start. The dealer will distribute two cards to the players and the banker. You can combine the values of these cards.
Depending on the total units’ value that you have, the dealer will deliver a third card to the players and banker. Then you are going to need to recount all the hands’ values.
The hand that has a value closest to 9 is declared the winning hand.
If you have placed your bet on a player’s hand, you win the amount of your previous bet. If you have bet on the banker’s hand, you win the amount of your previous bet minus a 5% commission rate.
If you bet on the “tie” situation, you win eight times the value of your previous bet.
The 3rd Card Rule
Based on the points calculated after the first draw, the dealer sometimes deals a third card to the player and/or the Bank.
The dealer gives it first to the player and then, if necessary, to the Bank.
